The Korean Journal of Spine is the official journal of the Korean Spinal Neurosurgery Society. It was first published in 2004, and accepts original research articles, review articles, laboratory investigations, technical notes, case reports, editorials, and other invited papers covering the whole field of spinal neurosurgery, including studies in spinal cord- or spine-related diseases or trauma and related surgery, neuroscience, neurology, molecular biology and biomechanics. Studies on peripheral nerve disorders are also acceptable with the approval from the editorial board.

The journal is published quarterly in the last day of March, June, September, and December each year.Supplemental issues are published occasionally.

The official title of the journal is ‘Korean Journal of Spine’ and the abbreviated title is ‘Korean J Spine.’ All submitted manuscripts are peer-reviewed by three reviewers. The text should be written in English. The abstract, acknowledgements, and references should be written in English. All of the articles in this journal are indexed in KoreaMed and KoMCI. Manuscript should be submitted electronically using online manuscript submission available at http://submit.e-kjs.org. The URL address of the society http://www.neurospine.or.kr. The URL address of the journal is http://www.e-kjs.org where full text is available.

Korean Journal of Spine is indexed/tracked/covered by PubMed, PubMed Central, KoreaMed, KoMCI, EBSCO host and Google Scholar.
