Abstract
We report two cases of spinal hematoma in the lumbosacral region who did not have a coagulation defect. They each have a different etiopathogenetic entity. They developed in a 70 years old woman and a 46 years old man. The former is idiopathic spontaneous spinal subdural hematoma(SSSH), the latter is associated with the migration of intracranial subdural hematoma to spinal canal.
Despite the different etiopathogenetic entity, lumbar puncture could be a treatment of choice in a stable and minimal neuro- logical impairment patient who have SSSH, confined to lumbosacral region.
